At the front of the list is The Battalion which has been in its time weekly, twice a week, three times a week and fi nally a daily. Boasting 7000 cir culation, the Butt is now a full time member of Associated Press. There are four magazines, The Commentator, The Agriculturist, The Engineer, and The South western Veterinarian. Last but not least is The Aggieland, a book that students will remember and prize more than any other of the student published organs because it records their life while they were at A&M. Today the Student Publications Department is a subsidiary of the Student Activities Committee. Both the Student Activities Committee and Student Publications are branches of the Student Life Com mittee, which is under the office of the Dean of Men. The other Aggies who rank in the scoring column are Hillhouse, Lary, and Tidwell, all, of whom are tied for seventh place with 36 points apiece for the six times that each has crossed into the promised land.
