Other Southwest Conference schools are to be represented at the Drake affair which was dom inated last year by Texas’ out standing trackmen. SMU is send ing hurdlers John Rowland and Cleburne Price. Price is also slated to enter the broad jump. Rice will have Augie Erfurth in the hurdles and Olympic entry Verne McGrew in the high jump. Texas will not be as strong as last year, but is far from weak with such men as Charley Parker in Y the 100 and sprint relays, John Robertson in the broad jump and sprint relays, Frank Guess and Ray Marek in the javelin, Clay Krames in the discus throw, and Bob Walters in the high jump.
