Relays who will compete tomor row. Fish sprinters probably will run the century Saturday if they have sufficiently recovered from football injuries and gridiron football injuries. Gary Ander son, Karl Hollier, and Robert Shaeffer are among the possible entrants. If the football-track men are not ready to go yet, the low hurdlers will run in the 220 dash instead of the regular flat land flyers. ]n such a case, no hurdles will he held. 9 The outcome of the fish sprints will determine the make-up of thejr entries in the individual 100 ana the 440, 880, and sprint relays in Austin next weekend. J, C. Zern is the only runner who will not have to win his place in tomor row's tryouts; he definitely will run the half mile leg of the sprint medley. IT i Three members of the fish mile relay combination will be decided upon after the tryouts. Ace 440- man James Baker, who will not compete this Saturday, will bfe the fourth man. Don Graves is slated for the Relays high jump, a. newly added event. Buddy Davis will re main at school to catch up on his studies evfcn though he is consid-' ered as ranking right with Graves in this event. Paul Leming, Bill Bless, and R. B. Farmer are top choices to domi nate the Austin nigh hurdles and may run in the sprint I relays as explained above. There will be no low'hurdle contest at TU. ]y r ; . , ' • A' Prairie View Glee 10 thirty-seven voice men’s glee from Prairie View AAM Col lege, will present a 4/i-mlnute pro* terday. ' ^ The glee club, under the direc* tion of C. 8. Garrett, is composed of students from various classes and deportments of Prairie View, with only a small percentage being music majors or minors. It is a non-paid organization and its mem bers sing only because of their love for music, Garrett said. In recent years the glee club has appeared in concert in Texas and several adjoining states. This year the glee club will be gin its spring tour April 1, and Eimong other cities will give con* icrts in Navasota, Waco, Marlin, Dallas, and Fort .Worth, Garrett said. 1 ' S OMES.
