I Serves! 20.—Mrs. Pearl Hoover, Harrisonburg, Va: Cheese Apple Crisp I ' Ingnalk^Qta: 3 quarts apples,, !% tablespoon cinnamon, 1% cups Water, pounds sugar, 2 cups flour, % teaspoon salt. % pound butteri pound grated cheese. Method:- Arrange sliced apples in shallow ;greased baking pans. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Add wat er and lemon juice. Combine sug ar, flour and salt; work .in butter to form a crumbly mixture. Light ly siir in grated cheese. Spread mixture over apples and bake |n a moderate oven, 350 degrees, until apples are tender and crust is brown and crls)p. Serves 25.— Mrs. Pear!
