SHELBY KELLY AF BASE — As ; the final week of intramur al activities begins, the Tex as Aggies and the Arkan sas XRazorbacks” are still battling it out for the top honor?* and the right to take home the intramural trophy to be award ed to the champs. ' ' 4 The Ags were continuing along their undefeated trail in softball with, six Straight victories behind them when they fell to LSU in a freak game. Bryan Crouch pitch ed a no hit game fob A&M, but they lost by a score of 1-0. Crouch wdlked a man, and four errors were, committed on the one man whichxbrought him in for the crtily counter x of the game. The following ; night A&M blasted the N M Aggies 6-0 to assure theiWlvcs 0 f at least a playoff for ike softball champ ionship. Arkansas is the only school which has a chance to stop the AggielamWs and to get this chance they must not lose either of their remahung two games. The Aggies have com pleted thejr schedule. Tnis in cludes a 7-2 victory over\Uie Porkers. ( \ Small trophies will be presented to ten players of the championship^ softball team, and various other awards will be given out for pro ficiency in athletics. Tennis is the only other-evqnt in iwhich the Ags have hopeiHof obtaining points. Due to the fine placing of James Killebrew and Toby Larroca the Aggies will be represented in both singles and'ant varsity trajbk coach doubles, in the final matches. Open Handball Tournament Will Be Held Soon An Open Handball Tournament sponsored by the Intramural Ath letic Office and the College Station Recreation Council Will start as soon as enough players have sign ed up. Singles and doubles matches will be played. All students, facul ty members, and -residents of Col lege Station and surrounding areas are eligible to participate. There are no fees, and no time limit will be placed on the number of games that can be played. In the playing of this tourna ment the Ladder System of scor ing will be used. Anyone interested in playing can sign up by leaving his name and address at the Student Activities Office or the Intramural Athletic Dept.
