-RODEO-
(Continued from Page 1)
Davis has long been associated
with the rodeo game. He entered
his first rodeo in 1937 at the an
nual Seymour Rodeo. Since that
first show Davis has participated
in rodeos all over the Southwest.
Bareback bronc riding, bull rid
ing, and saddle bronc riding have
long been his choice in the con
tests. In fact he later broke horses
for the Remount Service at Fort
Reno, Oklahoma.
While in the Marine Corps, Davis
had only one chance to do any ro
deoing. This was in Hawaii. After
he was discharged he again began
his contesting. He recently split
first and second place in bareback
bronc riding at the Stamford Ama
teur State Championship Rodeo.
Davis entered AAM in the sum
mer of 1946. During his stay here
he has judged in many shows and
rodeoa in surrounding towns.
