Charlie Stone, from Brown wood, was named vice-president, J. W. Newton, secretary and James Wil liamson was chosen to be club re porter. Sam Langford was selected to serve as propaganda minister athletic chairman, athdatjr chairman. A Heart O' Texas Chib football team was organised to participate in the intramural contests. Any Heart O’ Texas man interested in playing should contact Fred Ste wart in Room 223, Dorm 15. The next chib meeting will be held November 6 and will be high lighted by two movie shorts. He entered his first rodeo in 1937 at the an nual Seymour Rodeo. Since that first show Davis has participated in rodeos all over the Southwest. Bareback bronc riding, bull rid ing, and saddle bronc riding have long been his choice in the con tests. In fact he later broke horses for the Remount Service at Fort Reno, Oklahoma. While in the Marine Corps, Davis had only one chance to do any ro deoing. This was in Hawaii. After he was discharged he again began his contesting. He recently split first and second place in bareback bronc riding at the Stamford Ama teur State Championship Rodeo. Davis entered AAM in the sum mer of 1946. During his stay here he has judged in many shows and rodeoa in surrounding towns. ★ Ja.-k Kingaberry, class of '45, will be one of the arena directors a- well as a contestant K ingaberry come* from Santa Anna, Texas, and in the past has competed in many rodeos In that vicinity. He was thrown from bronc about two year* ago and severely fractured hi« leg.
