Bullard of the Texas Geologic Survey, an authority on the Mexican volcano Paricutin, will be a guest of the Geology club on Tuesday evening, February the 18th. He will give a lecture on the volcano and show colored films taken while he was a member of a committee sent by the U. S. Gov ernment to study this newly formed volcano. The meeting will be held in the Chemistry Lecture Room at 8 p.m. Tickets may be purchased at the office of the Geology department at a cost of 25 cents each. Leland, head of the department, announced. He will hold the position of associate pro fessor. Prior to coming to the college, Briggs, a graduate of the Uni versity of Iowa, was assistant pro fessor at De Paul University of Chicago. He has had three years experience in the field of public accounting, having been with Wolf and Company, Certified Public Accountants for that period.
