Scouts from the top four troops will represent this district at a Council Camporee to be held at Camp Hudson May 10-11. Bob Cherry is scoutmaster of Troop 102 and Gene Brock is scoutmaster of Troop 411. WIVES CHORAL GROUP IS DISCONTINUED The Choral Group of the Ex- Servicemen’s Wives Club will be discontinued until further notice. Official Notices OFFICE OF DEAN OF MEN • Memorandum No. 41: Subject: Dance Accommodation for Ladies To: All Students 1. In compliance with the request of the Committee in charge, P. G. Hall will be used to provide accommodations for visiting girls attending the dances on FRIDAY night, 3 May 1946. 2. Students having guests will be as sessed a charge of $1.00 per guest to cover cost of matron, maid service, and other incidental expenses. Refunds cannot be made. 3. Guests staying in the dormitory must be in not later than 2 a.m., FRIDAY night. Guests must check in with the matron upon their return to the dormitory after the dance. When reservations have been made for the guests, they will not be permitted to check out until departure for their homes. This will be done with the matron. Escorts will be held strictly accountable for compliance with these in structions. 4. Linen, towels, lights, etc., will be furnished by the College. Students will be held accountable for this equipment. 5. Guests will be admitted to their rooms at 4 p.m., FRIDAY, 3 May, and must be vacated by noon SATURDAY, 4 May. The College cannot be responsible for personal property of any guest or stu dent. 6. Church Women Meet; Elect New Officers The Federated Council of Church Women of College Station met Monday afternoon in the YMCA. Mrs. F. L. Dahlberg, retiring pres ident after a very successful year, presided over the meeting- Mrs. C. N. Shepardson read the revised constitution for the com ing year. Mrs. J. H. Hillman gave the highlights of a program which is to be presented at May fel lowship luncheons throughout the country. Rev. O. V. Helvey, of St. Thom as Episcopal Chapel, presided at the installation of the newly elect ed officers, which are as follows: Mrs. J. H. Hillman, president; Mrs. O. G. Helvey, first vice-president; Mrs. R. E. Snuggs, second vice- president; Mrs. C. A. Medberry, secretary; Mrs. C. N. Lyman, treasurer; Mrs. R. V. Lamb, report er; Mrs. C. N. After playing baseball and other games and eat ing their picnic lunches, the group went to the Knights of Columbus Hall in Bryan for dancing. Johnny Dradz was chairman of arrangements for the party. The Newman Club will meet at 7:00 p.m. in the “New YMCA” tomorrow evening. All members are urged to attend, and all Cath olic students who are not mem bers are invited to be present.
