Credit for extra-curricular participa tion will be awarded only to those students earning the credits shown above if they are in school and holding the position on April 15. Exceptions to this rule will be made in the following cases: a. Students who have earned the credit but who have been drafted into the service. In cases of this type the draft order number must be included in the student’s resignation. b. Students who have earned the credit but have graduated at mid-term. c. Students elected to any of the class offices shown above but who ax-e not holding the office on April 15 be cause of any class ruling requiring re-election at mid-term. ^ 3. The following method will be used in arriving at the relative rank of organiza tions under the extra-curricular factors. a. A list of all certified participants will be secured from the various officer* sponsoring the activities listed on Paragraph 1. b. The appropriate value will be given for each of the activities and this value will be credited to the organ ization. c. The total points amassed by each organization will determine that or ganization’s relative rank. 4. The committee voted unanimously that 40 points of the 50 awarded on the basis of scholarship shall be based on the grade point average of students completing the^ semester in an organization, as of the end of the first semester. It was also voted un animously that the remaining 10 points of the 50 will be awarded on the basis of deficient students as reflected by the mid-* semester grades of the spring semester. 5. It was agreed by all present that adjustments in the extra-curricular partici pation activites will necessarily have to be made from time to time and that in case of a controversy this committee would settle the issue.
