CLUB MEETS THURSDAY EVE A regular meeting of the Indus trial Education Club will be held this Thursday, March 7th, at 7:30 p. m., in the M. E. Shops Building. Important business will be dis cussed. After the meeting the New Year’s Cotton Bowl game of 1941 movie will be shown. All members are urged to attend and visitors are welcome. EX-SERVICEMEN’S CLUB DIRECTORS TO MEET IN Y There will be a short meeting of the Board of Directors Com mittee of the Ex-Servicemen’s Club Thursday, March 7, at 7:00 p. m., in the Cabinet Room of the Y. M. C. A. All members of this com mittee are requested to be present. Frederick Romberg Will Lecture on Gravity Meters Dr. Frederick Romberg of Aus tin, Texas, will give an illustrated lecture on gravity meters in the Petroleum - Geology Building on Thursday, March 7, at 7:30 p.m. The gravity meter has been widely used in exploration for petroleum. Dr. Romberg is associated with the LaCoste-Romberg Gravity Meter Company of which his father is co founder. Dr. Romberg has been in terested in the application of the gravity meter to problems in eco nomic and scientific geology in ad dition to oil exploration. A gravity meter survey of a magnetite ore body in Llano County proved suc cessful in outlining the body and in predicting the tonnage.
