In compliance with the request of the Veteran’s Committee, Law Hall will be used to provide accommodations for visit ing girls attending the dances on FRI DAY and SATURDAY nights, 22 and 23, February 1946. 2. Students having guests will be as sessed a charge of $1.00 per guest to cover cost of matron, maid service, and other incidental expenses. 3. Guests staying in the dormitory must be in not later than 2:00 A.M. FRIDAY night and 1:00 A.M. SATURDAY night. Guests must check in with the matron upon their return to the dormitory after the dances. When reservations have been made for the guests, they will not be per mitted to check out until departure for their homes. This will be done with the matron. Escorts will be hel dstrictly ac countable for compliance with these in structions. 4. Linen, towels, lights, etc., will be furnished by the college. Students will be held accountable for this equipment. 6. Guests will be admitted to their rooms at 4:00 P.M. FRIDAY 22 February and must be vacated by 11:30 A.M. Sun day, 24 February. The college cannot be responsible for personal property of any guest or student. 6. Room assignments may be made by veterans beginning at 8:00 A.M. Any veterans’ wives interested are asked to meet at the Lounge in Sbisa Hall on time. Transporta tion will be at Sbisa to take them to the home of Mrs. H. E. Bur gess, who will sponsor the group. The girls with Mrs. Burgess will plan group activities. Mrs. Wilma Parker, club presi dent, also reminds that the Bridge and Social group will hold its reg ular Thursday meeting in Sbisa Lounge at 7:30 p.m. AG ENGINEER STUDENTS TO MEET THURSDAY There will be a meeting of all Agricultural Engineering majors Thursday evening at 7:00 p. m., in the Ag Engineering lecture room. ASCE TO HAVE PICTURE MADE THURSDAY The American Society of Civil Engineers will have a picture made for the 1946 Longhorn immediately after the noon mess on Thursday, February 21, at Guion Hall. The correct uniform to wear in this picture will be khaki shirt with woolen O. D. trousers, wool serge trousers, or ice cream trou sers, according to classification. FISH AND GAME CLUB WILL MEET TOMORROW An important meeting of the Fish and Game Club is scheduled for Thursday, February 21, at 5:00 p. m., in the lecture room on the first floor of the Animal In dustries Building. All members are urged to be present. J. P. EXUM TO CPEAK AT TSPE MEETING James P. Exum of Austin, pres ident of the Texas Society of Pro fessional Engineers, will speak Thursday evening at 7:30 to the Brazos chapter in the Civil En gineering lecture room. President Exum will deliver the charter of the local chapter, and welcome it to the state organiza tion.
