Page 4 The Battalion Official Notices February 18-22 has been designated as Religious Emphasis Week. One hour each morning is to be devoted to a combined religious service in Guion Hall with Dr. B. Frank Hall, pastor of the Central Presby terian Church of St. Louis, as the speak er. The services will be held and classes will be suspended on the following sched ule : Morning Services Monday, Feb. 18 9:00 to 10:00 Tuesday, Feb. 19. 10:00 to 11:00 Wednesday, Feb. 20 10:00 to 11:00 Thursday, Feb. 21 11:00 to 12:00 Friday, Feb. 22 11:00 to 12:00 Evening services will be held from 7:16 to 8:30 and will be in the hands of the several denominational groups. Consolidated football team last night. “Shack” Jones presented a pen and pencil set to Coach Riddle in expression of the team’s apprecia tion for his work. Luke Patranella awarded a trophy to the team for winning the district championship and to Bill Eckles and Robert Lee Hunt, as the outstanding backfield player and lineman respectively. The latter award was contributed by John Bravenec. The Munnerlyn-Lipscomb award for the most valuable player went to “Shock” Jones, while “Tink” Long and Jones received the Mui$- n e r 1 y n - Lipscomb c o - captains’ awards.
