The meeting will be held in the Radio Room of the Y. M. C. A. Harold Borofsky Hillel President Duty, Honor, Country (Continued from Page 3) durable so it can support the civ ilization to come. If it is to be se cure we must be skilled workmen to fulfill our tasks properly. If we fail to do our part for the lack of skill, we have let down our country, ourselves, and the future generations to come. We must cast ourselves in the category of engi neers. We must plan; we must plot. We will have to see and rea son what the future has to hold. We must analyze it carefully, and. study each part to the last detail. By doing this we can see just what to use in the foundation. Gentlemen, today is nearly gone; we must work fast, and sure. It is tomorrow for which we must pre pare. The foundation of civilization must and will be completed. open from 12 noon until 2:30 p.m., it was announced. Opening of the dedication pro gram will be the landing of a P-51 Mustang which will taxi to the speakers’ stand and soldiers will stencil on the plane “The Spirit of Bryan Field.” W. D. Mills, fore man of the Williams Ranch, will brand the plane with a “T” for Texas. The plane was purchased by the" people of Bryan and will be delivered to them through Travis B. Bryan, president of the First National Bank, and H. W. Schwe- des. Mr. Bryan was sponsor of the campaign to buy the Mustang. Mr. Bryan in turn will present the plane to the Army Air Forces through Colonel Duckworth. The Mustatng will be christened by Miss Anne Learnard, daughter of Major A. T. Learnard of Bryan Field. The little four-year-old miss will christen the plane with a bot tle of Brazos River water, in keep ing with the legend that those who partake of Brazos River water will always return, being a good omen since the ship will leave for com bat duty as soon as the dedication services are over. After the christening ceremony, Col. Duckworth will dedicate the field and introduce the main speak er of the event, Brig.-Gen. Luther S. Smith, commanding general of the 33rd Flying Training Wing. As a grand finale, scores of planes from the instrument in structor’s school will stage a spec tacular air show in which the P-51 may take part before leaving fj r combat duty.
