I THE BATTALION RADIO PROGRAMS FROM AGGIELAND GAIN POPULARITY From all indications the radio program* that are broadcast from A and M at noon each day hare gained wide popularity through out the state, v they include talk* on -subject* of interest to everyone. These programs originate in the broadcasting studios of station W T A W at College Station and are relayed through stations W F A A at Dallas and K P R C in Houston. The program that has been an nounced for the remainder of the week will include a talk on the M Extension Service Farm Home Program" by Bernice Campbell, Thursday; the “Influence of Here dity on Tomato Puff"*' by S. H. Yarnell, Friday; and the “Corn Hog Program” by E. M Regen- brecht, Saturday. These programs have been made possible by the Humble and the Magnolia Oil Companies. From the beginning of the ex pedition at Panama, members of the Radio Club kept communica tion with Hutcheson until he reach- en New Zealand. Beyond this point they were unable to make connec tions until they made their pre sent plans. The officers of the Radio Club are: R. W. Long, president; F. J. U J Junior Judging Team In Preparation for the Ft Worth Stock Show The Junior Livestock Judging Team will leave Saturday. Febru- arry 8, for an inspection trip to the Singleton Farms at Midlothian in preparation for tho Fort Worth Fat Stock Show to bo held in Ft. Worth the week of March 4. The team has been working out daily, for the past several weeks under the direction of J. H. Knox, pro fessor of animal husbandry. Tentative plana have been made for several other trips before the Fort Worth show, but the only other definite plans is a trip to the Houston Fat Stock Show to be held at Houston, February 24, to March 4. There are thirteen members who are working for places on the team but the team will be cut to she members just before the Fort Worth Show. Members of the team include: E. L. Mean, Menard; W. L. Boothe, Sweetwater; G. W. Brockman, San Angelo; H. W. Turney, Dublin; L. A. Rothe, D’Hanis; W. C. Payne, Buffalo; J. L. Richmond, Kyle; R. C. Cross, Spur; H. F. Msyse, Mertson; J. T. Bean, Fort Hancock; R. E. Evers, Itasca; M. B. Templeton, Dublin; and J. W. Holmes, Dublin. The list of Inter-collegiate Live stock Judging Teams entered in the Fat Stock Show this year will include four schools, the Univer sity of New Mexico, Kansas, Ne braska and Iowa Stata, that have not been represented in the past.
