A Domingue-Murray pass combination waa good for three different 30-yard gains—the Mrsq of which put the ball in scor ing position for the first Aggie touchdown. One of the few Aggie cadets in the elands heard the re mark from a Vanderbilt man who was scouting the game, for the Commodores, that Murray’s perfor mance waa the best he had seen in a long time. Indications are that Charlie Malone will not be able to play this year on account of his knee injury, but will probably be back next year to make the Malone Murray combination the best in the Southwest. Evidently the Tulane team had orders to watch the Aggies Flying Frenchman for every time he car ried the hall, three or four men managed to snow him under, and he gut few chances to repeat his last year’s tactics. “Goat” Hewitt perhaps furnished the biggest thrill of the game with his dashing 45- yard run that directly accounted for tfie second Aggie marker late in the last quarter. •••see# In -his first major football game, Jack Strinjrfrllow, faat sophomore quarterback, showed his heels to the entire Tulane team in a very convincing manner. Jack was one of the fastest members of Coach Andcison’e undefeated freshman relay team last spring, and will probably be on the Varsity relay team next spring. : Little Trouble From Javelinas -cad Aggies Meet A. ind I.
