“Polly of the Circus,” a romance
of the sawdust arena has two great
stars to boast, Marion Davies and
Clark Gable. This is an opportun
ity to see two of your favorites in
an excellent drama.
“Two Kinds of Women,” based
on the stage play “This is New
York,” features Wynne Gibson,
Miriam Hopkins, and Phillips
Holmes. The play is another revel
ation of quick-paced Gotham life.
“Good Sport” is a picture said
to solve the neglected wife prob
lem. John Boles and Linda Watkins
lead the cast- of two-tirning hus
bands and gold-digging girl friends.
One of the most amazing and
peculia r pictures ever filmed is
the Tod Browning production of
“Freaks,” a show in which freaks
from all over the world have been
gathered. Siamese twins, pinheads,
midgets, and strange humans por
tray their living, love, and life;
their clashes with the world of nor
mal men and women. The regular
cast for the picture includes, Wal
lace Ford, Liela Hyams, Olga
Baclanova, and Roscoe Ates.
Rumors to the effect that the
mess hall next year will be operat
ed on a cafeteria system were de
nied by Dean Charles E. Friley,
Dean of the College of Arts and
Sciences this morning. There will
not be any material change in the
system used at present, it was an
nounced.
“Considerable discussion has
been had from time to time, in
regard to changing the mess hall
system of operations, but there
have been no changes along these
lines for the next year. Reductions
have been made in the maintenance
fee, which includes meals and dor
mitory fees; and next year may be
paid in four payments per term,
should the student so desire,” Dean
Friley said.
“The cafeteria style may be later
put in the mess hall, but there are
several difficulties which at pres
ent have not been overcome that
will prevent the change at the pres
ent.”

“Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.” Many
will be pleased to know has return
ed for another showing here. This
is undoubtedly the best of all re
cent thrillers and dramas. Frederic
March’s acting is superb as Dr.
Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Miriam Hop
kins and Rose Hobart lead the sup
port cast. If you want to see a real
thriller, don’t miss this picture.
