George Bancroft takes the lead in “Rich Man’s Folly,” the story of a man who considered power and wealth his all, and lost the one thing in life, his boy, whom he had wished to carry on his pursuit of power. The story is very human, and possesses the usual Bancroft drive. Marian Marsh appears in her first role as a star in “Confessions of a girl who was under 18,” a mod ern, human, and splendidly execut ed story of a girl who wanted wealth at any price. The cast is excellent, with Anita Page, Joyce Compton, J. Farrell Mac Donald, Regis Toomery, and Warren "Wil liams who will be remembered in his lead with Bebe Daniels in “Hon or of the Family.” With such a cats and story, the picture should be an excellent one. This is brought about in an (attempt to encourage trade, and I will be a permanent change if it proves satisfactory in its thirty days trial. Students are urged to take advantage of the reduction. With show prices and bus fares re duced in the afternoons, more nights should be left open for study. A few local reductions might further increase business. f——_ *».wry ft ESSs j lillllnllllUllilllliiliiiiniiimiimiii Oopr.. 1932.
