The all-round play of Wells, Baylor second sacker, marked him as the mainstay in the Baylor defense, while Parker, Baylor hurler, also turned in a nice game, holding the Aggies to seven bingles for the full route. In the Monday affair the Aggies just couldn’t get anybody out, and sixteen base knocks, registered by the Cats from the offering of Harold Haney and Ab Hawes, coupled with six Aggie errors, spelled defeat in a big way for the A & M team. Starting the fireworks by scoring a run in the initial round on two Ag gie errors and a well-placed sacrifice hit, the Cats were never halted, but continued to tally in every inning ex cept one, the seventh. Two double plays, one in the sec ond and the other in the third inn ing, were probably the only features of the' Aggies play for the afternoon.
