Citizens of this city are overjoyed
with the fact that next week’s elec
tion will give them a chance to vote
a bond issue to pipe chili into every
home in the city. The only opposition
to the issue is found among those who
prefer a conveyor system for the dis

Mr. Anson Feet of this city has
finally perfected his invention of
combination gas mask, umbrella, and
mosquito trap. The Chamber of
Commerce is backing production of
the invention and high officials of
the city claim that as soon as it is
placed on the market that white peo
ple can be induced to live in Port
Arthur.

voted the most handsome boy, the

contest conducted by O. H. Hegemann
and the Sbisa Volunteers of the A.
and Ml. College of Texas.
