THE BATTALION 5 Some call it mellowness . . . Some say that Camel is the mellowest ciga rette ever made. Some that it’s mild and smooth. It’s really all good things in one, and that is why it is supreme upon the pinnacle of modern favor. Camel’s popu larity today is the largest that any cigarette ever had. And, it costs something to make this kind of a smoke. It costs the choicest tobaccos that money can buy, and a blending that spares neither time nor expense. Each Camel cigarette is as full of value as the world of tobacco can give. You can be sure of smoking pleasure, serene and full, in these quality cigarettes. Smoke all of them you want; they simply never tire the taste. ‘Have a Camel!” © 1927 J. REYNOLDS TOBACCO COMPANY, WINSTON-SALEM, A. & M. ENTRIES WIN PLACES IN FAIR Several Firsts and Many Seconds Taken in Dallas The A. and M. entries in the cattle and horse shows at the Dallas Fair made an excellent show in themselves. Only a small bunch of cattle were taken to the show but that small bunch brought back prizes for one first place, four second places, two third places, and two fourth places. The heifer taken by A.&M. to the show was chosen champion senior Hereford calf of the show. While no grand champion of the show was picked, the judges agreed that the A. and M. en try, Bonny Anxiety X, was by far the best Hereford in the show. C. M. Lar- gent, a Texas breeder of cattle, has agreed to take the calf on to the American Royal Stock Judging con test at Kansas City and then to the International at Chicago. The A. and M. entries in the horse show also carried off some prizes. Red Oak, the A. and M. Morgan stal lion, was judged the Grand Champion of the show. In the year old class, a Morgan stallion bred by the college was Junior Champion. The Morgan mare entry was second in her class. The junior champion saddle horse was also an A. and M. entry. A two year old Percheron stallion bred by the college, was first in his class. There were a number of second and third places in the various classes. A. and M. also won second place in the Grand Display. The Grand Display consists of three mares and one stallion from the same barn. Altogether the trip was very successful, but next year even better success is hoped for. SAY BO DIDJA?
