TO DEBATE CAMBRIDGE AT FT. WORTH Debaters from Cambridge Univer sity, England, will meet the T. C. U. team November 17th, according to word received Thursday by Lester Boone, debating coach at T. C. U. Subject for the debate will be, “Re solved, That This House Thinks the Ethics of Business Are Incompatible With Sound Morality.” T. C. U. will support the negative side. The Cambridge team, which is mak ing a tour of the United States under the auspices of the Institute of Inter national Education, is composed of M. A. B. King-Hamilton, Robert Lionel, / Elvin and Hugh Mackintosh Foot. De baters who will represent T. C. U. have not been selected. LUNCHEON HELD FOR TEACHERS OF ENGINEERING The first meeting of the Society for the Promotion of Engineering Educa tion was held in the Mess Hall Annex Tuesday, Oct. 11, at noon. A luncheon was had in place of the usual Tuesday afternoon conference. The local or ganization is a branch of the National Society, and has its meetings once a month, at which times problems re lated to the teaching of engineering are discussed. Professor J. J. Civil Engineering- Department, is the local member of the National Coun cil of the organization. After the luncheon Tuesday, particular atten tion was given to the discussion of engineering research.
