KODAKS TO RENT <s><s><S><S><S><s><s><s><s><*><*><$><s><«><*><*><*><*><s><*><S><s><s^^ STUDENTS HAVE OPPOR TUNITY TO JOIN BRYAN COUNTRY CLUB Realizing that quite a number of the students of the college would be glad to enjoy the privileges afford ed at The Bryan Country Club during their stay at the college, the Board of Directors have voted to extend to them on opportunity to become ASSOCI ATE MEMBERS of the club. The associate membership can be ken out any day of the month but must be for six months from date. Each applicant must be recommended by a member of the club in good standing. Dues are payable six months in advance without any in itiation fee or any other charge ex cept ten per cent of the dues as war tax. Practically all of the staff of in struction of the college are members of the club and application blanks may be secured from Charles A. Fe'lker, Dr. J. O. Morgan or Walter W. Kraft, all members of the Board of directors living at college or from Travis B. Bryan, treasurer of the club, at the First National Bank in Bryan. The club provides all outdoor sports such as tennis, golf, hunting, fishing, swimming, free, in addition to the club house features such as an up-to- date cafe which features ' dinner parties and lunches, beautiful large club house with as good a dancing floor as any in the state. A golf profes sional has been employed for those interested in golf who is capable of giving instruction and making clubs to suit each member’s need. Several tournaments a year are held with prizes for all kinds of players. A ten nis tournament or two is also held each year by the tennis committee. An associate member of the club is en titled to all privileges except voting. See any of the above members of the board right away and begin to en joy the club. MANY NEW FACES IN A. AND M. FACULTY President Bizzell has announced eighteen new appointments to fill va cancies in the teaching staff of the college. Some of these vacancies have been open since spring and early summer, but it was impossible to fill them on account of the unctrtainty of the action of the legislature. When the butchering of salary appropria tions started more vacancies appear ed. Some of the positions are still open but we expect to learn who will get the jobs soon.
