Thru all of this every detail connected with the proper presenta tion of these things had been care fully timed. To mention each detail of the jour ney would take the same time as it took to go through it, due to the fact that everything was so carefully plan ned and timed with such nicety. The crowd then repaired to the social room and were served delicious cake and ices. All too soon the word went around that the time had arrived when we must depart. The thanks of the Senior Class go to the “Y” Cabinet, their committee, Jno. Mayo, Brinkman, Wiley and Naske and who were so ably assisted by Mr. and Mrs. Lewis and Miss Nova Lovell. Yes, it will be instrumental in causing all non-par ticipants to find a good place to Kick themselves for missing such an oppor tunity. In fact the jazzy contagion will spread to such an extent that night that the nightly wails of all Campus babies will have a “shimmy” minor chord and some of our most sedate and retiring professors, while walking the floor, will do an approved terp- sichorean “cheek-to-cheek” with the baby and with an occasional “grape vine.” This illustration is perhaps far fetched but the big idea is to get a girl for the dance even if she is far fetched. Stags with the necessary bucks will be allowed the full time exposure and are urged to come out and give the young ladies a little variety. HALLOWE’EN PARTY IN HONOR SOCIAL SECRETARY (Continued From Page 1) mance by the famous “Bobby Burns”, a real “Battle Royal” and last, to further promote western at mosphere there will he that old stage coach hold up. Together with the regular perfoi’- mance there will he a troupe of thirteen clowns of various shapes and forms, continually holding the audience at a height of laughter. The Polo game will be between the poloists of the famous Rainbow Division and the most noted and valiant Second Regiment. The men are supposedly the best in the United States, the game of that evening de ciding the champions. Referees offi ciating are Major Louis R. Dougherty and Captain Bals. Probably the most nerve racking event of the evening however, will be the “Great Battle Royal”. This is something which is seldom seen in the South, probably due to the large sum of money necessary to ob tain battlers of high standing. These men to battle in this Royal although born and raised in the South have been fighting in the more noted battles of the North and East for many years. Large sums of money have been placed on each of these men and a thrilling scene from start to finish is assured. Gentlemen you absolutely cannot afford to let this great opportunity pass your door and a special invita tion is extended to all Campus res idents. Tickets will go on sale Thursday or Friday night, so remember the date and spend half of that dollar for the greatest night of your life. WACO DIRECTORY. minute and slipped on a banana in Casey’s. Misery did not see through this and mistook the crowd in honor of himself. It did not make him mad when he was told better because Mis ery loves company. John Langston, the populay_meal- hound, was disguised as a musician 1 by throwing a sheet (of music) around himself. John had to make a few notes to carry out his impersonation and stay in the game. The game came to a close as soon as the only Potts in the game got broke. Potts accused every man at the party of being two-faced, so they all pulled off their masks. Just then the door slammed and 1 woke up. CASUALS PLAN PEP DIS PLAY ON WACO TRIP Austin Avenue: Mile or SO of torture when you wanta look around and see if she is in the crowd. All the Casuals have great confidence in their ability to hold on to their own during the trying hours of the Waco visit. There is a great future for the Casuals’ insignia. Most of the A. and M. men will be in uniform while the Casuals to be recognized, as battlers for the same cause, must have their insignia. This may be necessary in case—well, just so the civilians and cadets know each other perfectly on that day. A. & M. RODEO TO BE A NOV ELTY LIVESTOCK SHOW (Continued From Page 1) France, but few have had the oppor tunity of ever being a witness. So in order to say and tell the folks back home that you have actually seen a real Duchess, be at the pavil ion that night. After the parade is over, the Duchess will be escorted to her throne over isles of strewn rose leaves. The attendants will occupy the seats surrounding her and will guard their Honor from further dis turbance. The gown worn by the Duchess will ffe most elaborate. It will be of a very expensive white satin all trimmed in diamonds and pearls. Her slippers will be of a sparkling silvery hue with diamond set platinum buckles. And upon her head will be the mark of distinction, a crown of pure gold. The seats nearest the Royal Court ordinarily should be proportionate in price, but upon consultation we have decided to have no extra charges. So men here is your chance for an opportunity of breathing a royal atmosphere. The program to follow will consist of many live and snappy events, such as broncho busting, goat roping, sad dle racing, mounted wrestling, polo, greased pig contest, cowboy ballards by the cast iron quartet, a perfor- *rogressive Club: The scene end of a peiffect day.” of The Smith Drug Co. | I J.
