The trophy room is to be all that the name implies—in that all trophies such as cups, medals, banners and footballs used in the big games are to be perpetuated here. It will also contain a picture of all athletes to gether with their records, and a sec tion reserved for individual pictures of “T” men. Under each of these individual pictures will be found the man’s name, the sport or sports he participated in, with the year. This magnificent structure is to be built of reinforced concrete, the plans for which are how being drawn by Prof. J. J. Richie of the Civil En gineering department. It is hoped that the first section will be complet ed by the end of the present year. It is to cost $40,000, $5,000 of whicn the Alumni has been asked to con tribute. It is unnecessary to say that the full amount will undoubtedly be obtained and hence the hopes of stu dents for ages will be realized. Houston Post has lost interest in football. THE WALLACE PRINTING CO. ❖ PRINTING ❖ - .—== STATIONERY REGULATIONS REGARDING FUNDS FOR STUDENT ACTIVITIES Paragraph 49 of the College Regu lations provides that the collecting of funds for any student activity or MEMORIAL STADIUM PLANNED FOR A. Before many days we will be able to witness the starting of work on the new Stadium on the athletic field. This construction is to be the most modern in the state of Texas and be sides this—it is to be large enough to accommodate the vast crowds that gather here to witness an Aggie foot ball contest. The erection of this addition to the Campus will satisfy a need that has long been greatly felt by the athletes o fthis College. The Stadium is to extend the length of the football field and is r.o consist of two rows of boxes and twenty rows of seats, the plans cal ling for a depth of 65 feet and a seating capacity of six thousand. Underneath is to be located the club rooms for our teams and the visitors and are to be equipped with hot and cold showers, electric fans and other modern apparatus which is associated with such an improvement. The me morial room is to be a room open at all times to visitors, and is to con tain a service record of every A. and M. man—a special tablet of gold
