NEW PROMOTION LIST IS OOT NUMBER OF VACANCIES OPEN AFTER HOLIDAYS FILLED. Number of Officers and Non-Commis sioned Officers Reduced After Christmas Reinstated. Following the resignation of two of the captains, W. W. Steel and E. H. Mills, the following promotions were announced. Many of these are the men who lost their ranks because of being late in returning from the Christmas holidays, and the com mandant took this occasion to show the goodness of his heart by reinstat ing them in their former offices: Headquarters Corps of Cadets, A. and M. College of Texas, College Station, Texas, Jan. 15, 1913. General Order No. 74.
