Tarver, ’04, has recently been made city engineer of Houston. S. T. Brogdon, ’98, is an architect ural draftsman at Beaumont, Texas. W. E. Beilharz, ’03, is drafting for the S. P. R. R. at San Francisco, Cal. J. W. Benjamin, ’05, is draftsman for the S. P. R. R. at Victoria, Texas. V. M. Ehlers, ’05, is with the F. C. C Ry. & P., at Culiacan, Sinaloa, Mex ico. H. S. Woods, ’05, is with the Gener al Electric Company, at Schenectady, N. Y. C. G. Brown, ’06, is with the North ern Electric Company at Cleveland, Ohio. H. E. Burns, ’06, is a draftsman for the Colorado and Southern at Beau mont. H. Schroeter, ’07, is with the C. R. Y. & P. R. R., Mazatlan, Sonora, Mex ico. R. J. Windrow, ’06, is spending a few months at his home in Temple, Texas. C. E. Burgoon, ’95, is chief engineer in the Custom House, New York City, room 69. M. S. Church, ’05, has been studying law- at the University of Texas the past year. E. C. Arnold, ’06, has been spending the past few months at his home in Graham. R. S. Brandt, ’06, has been spending a few months at his home in San Diego, Texas. B. L. Durst, ’05, has his headquar ters at Dallas, and is doing civil engi neering work. W. Boyce, Jr., ’07, is with the Mex ican National Railway at San Luis Potosi, Mexico. J. R. Tabor, ’06, graduates in arch itecture this June at the Mass. Insti tute of Technology. H. Baines, ’06, has been at Chappell Hill the past few months, installing a telephone system. R. L. Burney, ’06, is a locating en gineer on the Maderia and Mamore Railroad, Brazil, S. A. A. Underwood, ’07, is with H. Pen nington, in Houston, doing general civil engineering work. J. M. Davis, ’03, better known as “Farmer Jim,” has recently married and is located at Forney. R. M. Brown, ’01, is with the Guay aquil and Quito Railway; box 37, Guayaquil, Equador, S. A. P. E. Cunningham, ’07, is a survey man on the Mississippi River com mission, at Scaife, Ark. J. E. Pirie, ’04, is chief clerk to the trainmaster on the H. & T. C., with headquarters at Houston. Carleton C. Abney, ’05, is conduct ing an irrigated farm in the Colorado river bottom near Lampasas. H. Brinkmann, ’06 and ’07, is with the General Electric Company, 12 Barrett, St., Schenectady, N. Y. J. G. Harrison, ’02, is now with the architectural Arm of Thompson & Harrison, Wilson Bldg., Dallas. A.; Grand Hotel, 12 y Zuleta, 8 1-2 City D. F. E. B. Cushing, ’80, general superintendent of the S. P. R. R., has been changed from New Orleans to Houston. F. G. Eliot, ’06, has been at Waco the past two months, taking a course in bookkeep ing at Toby’s Business Col lege. E. G. Abbott, ’94, first lieu tenant United States army, has been changed from Fort Flagler to Fort Worden, Wash. Joe Welborn, ’06, was mar ried in February to Miss Hal- lie Moore of Houston, and is now working in a bank at Alvin, Texas. J. W. Pickett, ’04, is divis ion engineer on a South American railway—Areguipa, Peru, S. A., via New Orleans and Panama. L. G .Lenert, who has been with the I. & G. N. R. R. since graduation, is spending a few months at his home in La Grange, Texas. •r
