THE BATTALION. 35 Brazos Bottom; Mr. and Mrs. T. S. Smith, Miss Ethel Smith, Masterson Smith, Columbia; Miss Rouine Masterson, Mrs. J. A Huston and daughter, Houston; Miss Josephine Weisi- ger, Quintana. Dr. Geo. T. Winston of Austin, was with us during com mencement, and by his sweet face and pleasant tone he added much to the commencement joys. E. B. Cushing and Ed Hutchinson of Houston were with us. Mr. Tracy and wife of Dallas, spent three days with their son at College. Mr. and Mrs. Campbell of Arlington, were among our visitors. Miss Cliett of Martindale, visited College recently. E. J. Smitu of Denison, was here. He is a bunch of sound sense. M. H. Allen arid wife visited College. Also Mrs. Oliver of Wharton, and Miss Melgard of Brazoria, were here. Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Miller of Houston, came in their special car to attend the commencement exercises, and entertained several cadet friends of their nephew, Harry Heffner, for din ner and tea. Mrs. J. A. Huston and little daughter, Rosine, of Houston, visited the family of Mr. J. G. Harrison during the com mencement exercises. Adjt. T. L. Smith was wonderfully blessed with visitors; his father, mother, sister, brother and cousin, Miss Master- son, and another cousin (?) Miss Weisiger, were at College. Mr. J. S. Monroe of Rio Grande City, was visited by his two sisters during commencement.
