and Gold banquet at Consolidated
School Cafeteria, with approxi

The menu will consist of fried
chicken or fish, cole slaw, potato
chips, rolls, relishes, homemade-
pie and cake and is being prepar
ed by the A&M College Dining
Hall.
Tickets which are 85 cents for
adults, 70 cents for children, are
being sold by pupils in grades
three through eight, and will also
be sold at the door.
“This is the first in a series of
functions honoring our schools dur
ing Texas Public School Week,”
announced Mrs. Walter Metzen,
general chairman. Open House will
be observed in the junior and sen
ior high schools, grades five to
twelve, following the supper, she
went on to say.

night, ITS auditioners met to make
the final choice of acts.
