Bush, said leadership is a posi
tion of respect and that Laura
Bush has earned that respect
from the American people.
“I have tremendous respect
for Laura Bush, for the things
she does for the people of

that is extremely satisfying."
Rodriquez said.
These women spoke about
their jobs and shared serious
events during their service as
press secretary under the first
ladies throughout the evening,
but they all agreed that humor
is what made their jobs enjoy
able.

weight children to be victims
and perpetrators of bullying, a
study found, bolstering evi
dence that being fat endan
gers emotional as well as
physical health.
The results in a study of
5,749 Canadian youngsters
echo data from British
research and follow a
U S. study published last year
in which obese children
rated their quality of life as low
as young cancer
patients’ because of teasing
