Student Body President
Narietha D. Carter
Howdy!
I’m Narietha Carter and I'm a Senior English major/Business
minor from Houston, Texas.
Standing up for the students’ voices and making sure students pos
itively benefit in all ways possible from an Aggie education is what
I care about, so much that I’m running for Student Body President.
My motto is “Carter Cares,” and I want to let you know about just five major issues
from my platform that impact you as students. Texas A&M needs a strong leader to
care about the students’ voices, stand up for the students and make sure students are
benefiting from A&M policies. I can serve as that leader.
For more details about who I am and what I stand for, please visit my Web site at
www.ndc4sbp.com.
Don’t forget to vote NDC for SBP!
Royd Hernandez
Howdy!
My name is Royd Hernandez. I’m a junior Biomedical Engineering
major from Pharr, TX, and the proudest member of the Fightin’ Texas
Aggie Class of 2005! I’m running for Student Body President to
implement solid, realistic, and intelligent ideas derived from the stu
dent body itself. The implementation of your ideas will serve to
improve student life, create a unified and diverse student government, attain academic
excellence, uphold traditions, and narrow the gap of miscommunication between the stu
dent government and the student body.
Vote Royd Hernandez to make the promised changes a reality.
Andy Herreth
Howdy. 1 My name is Andy Herreth; Vm a senior Political Science
major from Missouri City, Texas, and the proudest member of the
Fightin’ Texas Aggie class of 2004! I’m running for Student
Body President because 1 want to represent your views to the
zbromsfratim. ) w;)) woA hard to accomplish my campaign's
platform goals, which center on saving students’ money while
perpetuating Aggie traditions. Included in that are creative ideas
for Athletics, Fall Activities, Parking, Residence Halls, and Student Government.
I encourage you to visit the Web site to learn more about these ideas and please
don’t forget to vote!
Will McAdams
As Commander of the Corps of Cadets, I sense that as a student
body we are losing some of the most special qualities that make
Aggies unique. The pillars of tradition on which we base our pride
are crumbling, specifically attendance at Silver Taps and Muster,
student attendance at Aggie sporting events and even the friendly
“Howdy” heard around campus. Issues such as these are changing
the very fabric of Aggie culture, and will continue to worsen until the student gov
ernment, working alongside the administration, finds that critical direction and goal
that will lead Texas A&M toward a better future.
This campaign is not for me, but for the students. The office of Student Body
President is not a position about just one person, but something much bigger than
ourselves. After all, that is what we are fighting for.
Please check out my Web site and take a quick look at our platform. I welcome your
feedback because this is your campaign, too. Thank you for your support.

Throughout my joumes at Texas A&M I have learned a kev principle
that has become very important in my life. This is the principle of unitv.
The position of Student Body President should be one that easuros that
there is unity among the student body. To do this it is imperative that the
student body president is actively involved in all student affairs and has constant dialogue
with all students. The student body’s wants and needs arc my focas and I believe in the stu
dents’ power to influence and I want to make our voice heard. By providing a unified goal
and struggling to get there as one. the students can achieve so much more together than sep
arated. Students and their involvement are w hat make this University great. The input of the
student body should be considered in every decision made on campas. I am excited about
the opportunity to serve the student body by ensuring that your interests are considered. For
more information on what I am about, please refer to www.backjack04.com

plan of specific policy objectives that I will undertake as SBP. If you have

something I hold dear to my heart. To serve as a Yell Leader as I have served the past
years as the 12th Man, at Muster and at Silver Taps would be a privilege. Thanks and
Gig ’em, and remember to vote TBaum 4 Sr. Yell.

Jacob Scher
Howdy! My name is Jacob Scher and I’m a sophomore marketing and
management major from Katy, Texas, but more importantly, I am the
PROUDEST member of the Fightin' Texas Aggie Class of 2006.1 have
chosen to run for Junior Yell this year because I love the Aggie Family,
Spirit, Traditions and giving back to this University. From the moment I
stepped foot on campus, I have dedicated my time to making A&M bet
ter for those to come. I am involved in seven oiganizations on campus ranging from Parents
Weekend Committee, to Change, to a two-year Fish Camp counselor, to Ags of OAK, to the
president of my dorm, to CARPOOL. All these oiganizations truly enhance the spirit that
sets A&M apart from many schools. Change helps Aggies purchase Aggie Rings for those
who could not afford them. CARPOOL protect your friends and mine on the weekend. Fish
Camp teaches the new generation of Aggies what it duly means to join our Aggie Family. I
am the only non-reg running for Junior Yell this year. I could not be more honored than to
serve Texas A&M and represent my school as a Fightin’ Texas Aggie Yell Leader. I would
like to thank my mom and all my staff for all the support and encouragement. I could not
have done this without you! Please remember when you vote. Vote Jacob 4 Jr. Yell!
Class Council
Class of 2005
Fightin’ Texas Aggie Class of 2005. 1 have served as a member of Class Councils
for the past year and have several ideas to increase council efficiency and in turn bet
ter serve the Class of 2005. My primary goal as Vice President is to concentrate on
making sure you are informed of the Senior Class Traditional Events (i.e. Elephant
Walk & Ring Dance) as well as other class-wide events we may host. Another goal
along those same lines is to get the word out about what Class Councils is and how
we can serve you as our class constituents. Once again, my name is Jared Patterson
and I’d appreciate your vote for Class of 2005 Vice President.
Nathan Tichenor
Early in my career at A&M I decided I wanted to be a leader and serve my class. Soon
after I was selected to serve on Class Council, where I have been an active member for two

This is why I’m running for Class of 2005 Vice President. I have a vision to make the Class
of 2005 a standout class. To make our class one that future classes compare themselves to
and look up to. With me serving as your Vice President, I can help make our senior year
here in Aggieland a year we can all look back on as old Ags and be proud of. I want to help
make out last year here at Texas A&M one that we will always remember!
