“My guess now is totally different thanwlf
I thought when I was out there,” Lawrence
said. “I didn’t get to see interviews guys wen
doing or she was doing. Since then, 1 have been
able to guess better, and I think 1 have tktight
one picked now.”

Juliann Jordan, a child
hood friend from Mt. Vernon,
Texas, and A&M former stu
dent, said fame has not
changed her friend.
“Lanny remains the same
humble and sensitive man he
has always been, and any girl
will be so lucky to have him
for a husband,” Jordan said.
Lawrence said he always
wanted to come to A&M.
“It was always a dream to
come to A&M when I was
growing up, and then I got a
baseball scholarship to play
ball in Louisiana at

said everyone who knows him
would tell you he is pretty
quiet, and planning too far
ahead isn’t who he is either.

dating life too much because it always turns
out better that way, when you expect nothing,'
he said.
