they all look sandblasted or
girlyCazalas said.
Light suggests Diesel Jeans.
“They look good on guys, but
there is not anyone in town who
carries them, so you would have
to go to Houston, Austin or
Dallas to try some on,” she said.
Light researches jeans early in
both Los Angeles and Dallas and
shared what to expect for jeans
this spring.
“The extreme low jeans have
dropped out,” Light said. “The
Seven jeans for the spring are all
real soft and but remain rigid,
which will help hold you in more.”
For men’s and women’s jeans,
the price depends on the wash of
the jeans and the fibrex used.
“A lot of college kids are on
tight budgets and cannot afford
much,” Light said. “It is not
about the novelty but more
about a great fitting pair of jeans
for you.”

of finding a normal pair of blue jeans. Sadly,
there are not many options. Jeans for men
have become funkier, from odd yellow tints
to white, tiger-like stripes across the thigh
with an unnecessary flare on the bottom. In
the age of the metrosexual, made famous by
the Fab Five of Queer Eye for the Straight
Guy, it has become more difficult to find
jeans for men that lack flare. In trying to find
a normal jean, men must beware of buying
overly-tapered jeans, because even Brad Pitt
could not make that style look good. The best
choice for a man on the market for jeans is a
straight leg or slightly boot cut style.
Men do not need a party happening on
their jeans. Keep it simple. And women, cel
ebrate and feel liberated that you can pur
chase jeans this season that can be comfort
ably sat in without worrying about the
plumber calling and wanting his crack back.
