As the semester begins, exams, projects and
hours of studying loom in the distance. But as every
college student knows, studying also includes
study breaks. For those times, check out www.new -
grounds.com, an online repository of thousands of
flash videos, games, movies and more.
A weary student can wander for hours and find
a plethora of distractions from studying. There is
something for everyone here, and while the inter
lace is not the best on the Web. it does \sork. Then
again, half the fun of the Web site is simply brow s
ing and finding some random videos that will
make visitors laugh aloud.
Things such as the Chocobo Mix or Stick-
Man series are random, but it’s all well done and
you only short change yourself if you don’t
check it out.
Then there are hundreds of games t/f all types
and styles. From action to fighting, to strategy
games and more, there is something for everyone
here. From the devilishly addictive Fishy, to the
stylishly cool Divine Intervention, there are hours
of entertainment available. The best part: ifsffc|
However, there are banners for mature sitesh
it is nothing inappropriate or objectionable. E\; ,
though it has a clunky interface and can bediff
cult to find specific games, newground.cor -
abundance of games, videos and flash files m f
than make up for it. There are hundreds ofb.f
worth of distractions here, and nearly evcrythrM
is of great quality.
