“It’s a big commitment,”
Moore said. “I’ve got all the
food 1 want and all the people
around me that I want, but I
feel confined and have mood
swings. The way I see it,
there’s somebody worse off
than me, so why should 1 feel
sorry for myself?”
Residing in front of the J.C.
Penny department store,
Moore said he constantly has
visitors asking him about the
purpose and goals of “Bubba-
tat.” The most common ques
tion being, “What were you
thinking, Bubba?”
Bryan High School student
Jill Hendry said she could not
imagine living in the mall with
everyone looking at her and
talking to her all the time.
“I don’t think l could do that,
especially not through
Christmas,” Hendry said.
Moore has captured the
attention of thousands of peo
ple and is looking to capture
the attention of the nation.
Moore has sent letters to
Oprah Winfrey, David
Letterman and others and
hopes to have America
acknowledge his cause.
Although Moore claims he
had no idea of what he was get
ting into and recommends alter
nating hosts for the glass house
in the future, he remains
adamant in fulfilling his goal.
“It’s a big commitment,” he
said, “but it’s definitely going to
be worth it.”
Donations can be made in

Speaker of the Senate and
senior philosophy major
Matthew Wilkins said the sup
portive legislation was passed
with the condition that students
living on campus are priori
tized in certain areas.
“Weis has assured us that
on-campus residents will be
given priority in the spots near
est residence halls,” Wilkins
said, “That would be a major
improvement over the current
situation, where, for example,
staff gets to park in the lot out
side of Lechner and residents
of Lechner do not.”
