members of the alternative rock band Eve 6, will bring ibeirnol

What would it be like to play in one of the biggest alternative i
bands of recent history? To hear screaming fans night after ni^
play music you love with your best friends?
Not many people can live this fantasy, but for alternative'
band Eve 6, it’s a daily routine week in and week out. Onthebl

tied its extensive world touring and is now on the road 11
Good Charlotte.
While still in high school, Eve 6 achieved what only a hi
bands are able to do throughout their entire career. The band's<
titled 1998 debut release achieved platinum status while its menil
were still taking senior algebra and home economics at La 0
High School in Southern California. I
With a new ambitious CD and powerhouse tour, Eve 61m
again catapulted to the top of the music scene — which is not
feat for a band that many thought would head straight to one-1
der-dom. Fans of Eve 6 are welcoming the new songs andstpil f or ^
their endeavors.
Martin Hunt, a junior political science and philosophy m
been a longtime fan of Eve 6. He said the band’s lyrics have
that other artists fail to capture.
“Even though they have a heavy sound, their lyrics f
rhyme,” Hunt said. "Best of all, they actually make sense.”
