Aggie volleyball
climbs to No. 22
The Texas A&M volleyball
team climbed two spots to No.
22 in the USA Today/American
Volleyball Coaches
Association Division I
Coaches Poll, released
Monday by the AVCA. The
ranking matches the Aggies’
highest ranking of the season.
The Aggies (12-5, 4-3 Big
12), who are in a four-way tie
for fourth place in the Big 12
Conference, made the jump
after going 2-0 last week by
defeating Texas Tech and
Iowa State.
In addition to A&M, the Big
12 Conference is represented
by Nebraska and Kansas
State, which are tied at No. 8.
The Wildcats climbed from No.
12 after upsetting the Huskers
in Lincoln on Saturday.
Texas A&M returns to Big 12
play Wednesday when the
Aggies host the Kansas
Jayhawks. First serve is at 7 p.m.
at G. Rollie White Coliseum.
