Last Free Exit thanks the entire to College Station. The former Texas A&M students come thrat with a strong and noteworthy album. More experimental thai previous work, Last Free Exit is pushing the boundaries of its mas Filled with honesty and simplicity, “The Concert G" wasnai with emotion and love. Last Free Exit's songs are jammy, eani listen to and impossible to get out of your head. The additkii horns (Austin’s Grooveline Homs) and a new voice (Paine?Pi have brought out the soul of the music. Most of the songs art pa but a few of the standouts are “Screen Door”, “Wise Cat Tempi and "Fat Jessie." There is not a bad track on this CD. But "The Concert G" lacks a strong central feel. The random and not necessarily tied together. The album feelsi scattered pictures than a themed collage. Should you buy this album? Ask JT, the lead -unger. Hcik “You are not paying $15 for a 45 minute record... you arepasi S15 to listen to the last six years of our lives and if you haven'ta us live. well...you just might not be an Aggie.” Last Free Exit is growing and becoming more confident s: going somew here. This is a great effort, and the band is alread) is at work on its next. -Daniel Chapm Music Review V 2.002 Relient K Two Lefts Don't make a Right... But Three Do Independent O «3> The rebels of Christian punk rock, Relient K. and their i album, “Two Lefts Don’t Make a Right...but Three Do,"stands* from the crowd. Relient K is growing up and making more ms music. With a more developed sound, Relient K loses noneali energy, pow , er and humor, but has found a way to explore newirfc cal and emotional avenues. While they have taken a step forward, the fifth track, “In im with the 80s (pink tux to the prom)” is typical of Relient K sses of humor, as is the lyric, “And I’m only going to pierce my left ear. and I’ve been worts on this mustache all summer long. My favorite band will always) Tears for Fears.” Relient K can be funny and immature but can also be serious3 other tracks. The 11th track, “getting into you," is a great heaitfs acoustic track about singer Matthew Thiessen’s faith and stroll in life and serves as a major standout on the album. This enhanced CD unlocks a Web site, a bonus for buying!) CD. When visiting the site there are videos to watch but did® work at the time of log-on, possibly the single disappointment of!) entire album. “Two Lefts Don’t Make a Right...but Three Do,! 1 decent album and a must—have for all Relient K fans.
