MTV, VH1 and CMT are all popular
television channels that base their con
tent around music videos. Directors,
producers and artists spend many hours
and thousands of dollars on these short
pieces of media, and yet many of them
don't get the recognition they deserve.
Clipland.com offers fans a chance to
learn about these people and other lit
tle-known facts about their favorite
music videos.
While it doesn’t limit itself to only
music videos — TV commercials and
movie trailers are among the media
included on the site — Clipland offers a
free textual database of facts about
videos. Information listed in the database
includes director, date of release and
technical specifications. Some videos
have streaming, live-video feeds and still
images. Visitors can review the video and
discuss it on the site’s message boards.
The site is growing and there are still
hundreds of music videos not included in
the database. Visitors are encouraged to
help add items to the database to make it
the most accurate and comprehensive site
of its kind on the Internet.
This site has potential. Once it gets
more videos added to the database, and
the holes in current data are fixed, it will
be a great resource to any music video
fan. Until that time, though, it is simply a
good idea in the making.

Tests are a dreaded part of college
life. Students go to class (or not), take
notes and inevitably a test is given.
Despite the horror of tests and the dread
that comes with them, online tests are
insanely popular.
Personality tests, IQ tests, purity tests,
“Which ‘Friends’ character are you?” tests,
etc. pop up everywhere you turn. The pull
of online tests seems to be too strong to
resist, if for no other reason than to
increase one’s time spent procrastinating.
Along comes AHTheTests.com, the ulti
mate collection of tests, to help Web
surfers kill time. This site is the place to
find any type of quiz you could possibly
wish to take, or if you can't find the one
you want, make one yourself. .
Find little known facts about yourself
through the tests featured on
AHTheTests.com. Some of the tests are
quite serious and have educational value.

Marley's daughter
opens clothing line
KINGSTON, Jamaica (AP) -
Bob Marley's Grammy award
winning daughter, Cedella, took
a break from singing reggae
tunes to present her own cloth
ing line at a fashion show.
She says she designs for
women with an eye for the
adventurous, but doesn't want
her Catch A Fire line to be
boxed into any category.
"I wouldn't classify it as any
thing — I don't like to
classify,"said Marley, 35, who
has no formal training as a
designer. She spoke by tele
phone from her Miami home
"My clothing is for people
who want to express their indi

The collection was shown
Saturday in Kingston as part of

Winfrey donates
scholarship money
CLEVELAND (AP) - Talk show

donation for scholarships.
While giving the keynote

cational foundation," Winfrey
said Friday.
College President Jerry Sue
Thornton was as surprised as
