But there's one voice that eludes him. "1 can't do Woody Allen to this day. I worked with him and I can't even do him," Fallon said in a recent interview with The Associated Press. "I just sound like John Travolta when he was really young." The 27-year-old "Saturday Night Live" comedian joked that he knows he has an impression down perfectly "when you don't have to tell people who it is." He thinks his best one is of Robin Williams. "I just like that one because it's, like, so many different things," Fallon said. "Robin Williams is amazing. He does, like, 20 people. There is no real Robin Williams. He does the gay choreographer, he's like, a preacher, and he's a hick from upstate New York, in five minutes." Fallon's debut comedy album "The Bathroom Wall," which con tains many of his impressions, hits stores Tuesday. He's also host ing the MTV Video Music Awards Thursday night. Bouncer found guilty in murder trial MAYS LANDING, N.J. (AP) - A mistrial was declared Tuesday in the murder trial of an Atlantic City strip club bouncer accused of beating a customer to death. After about three days of deliberations, jurors said they were deadlocked on murder but voted to convict Tamer Shahid, 26, of aggravated assault and conspiracy in the death of investment banker Peter Westra. But Judge Michael Connor, citing the prosecutor's con cerns about potential double jeopardy, refused to officially enter the verdicts. He declared a mistrial on the murder count and put off a decision about the other two’ charges until Sept. 12. "The fact that they didn't return a verdict on murder or any of the homicide counts is a victory," said defense attorney Joel Mayer. Prosecutor Murray Talasnik said the state would seek to try Shahid again for murder, despite the defense's con tention that Shahid never hit Westra. He told Connor that entering the verdicts might compromise such a prosecu tion and expose Shahid to double jeopardy, trying him twice for charges stemming from the same incident. The July 2001 death of the 24-year-old investment banker came as he was attending a bachelor party at Naked City near the boardwalk. After being ejected from the club for allegedly groping dancers, Westra tried to force his way back in, according to witnesses. He was knocked to the side walk by Shahid and four others who kicked him, according to prosecutors. Naked City's owner, manager and two other bouncers are awaiting trial on aggravated assault charges. Shahid was identified by two eyewitnesses as the man who repeatedly kicked Westra in the head. He remains jailed on $350,000 bail. Author seeks support for exhibit NEW ORLEANS (AP) - Historian and best-selling author Stephen Ambrose asked Southern governors to support a planned museum exhibit that would help each state recount its unique contributions to the World War II effort. "All of America needed your state's help in 1941 to win that victory," Ambrose said Monday a t a Southern Governors Association luncheon at the National D-Day Museum, which he founded. "Nearly every one of you sit ting in the audience today have ancestors who participated in the war at home or overseas. Your support for this project is the best way you can say thank you' to them for what they did." The exhibit's title, "We're All in This Together," plays off a common phrase in America during World War II. The goal is for each state to have two identical multimedia kiosks — one in the museum in New Orleans and another at their own state capital complex. Ambrose, the 66-year-old author of "D-Day" and a half- dozen other best sellers, has made few public appearances since learning in late April that ho has lung cancer. He began oxperimental chemotherapy treatment in May. You’ll Feel Better, Fast! Sports £f Bi g{| nic Helping Ags feel better for over 20 years.
