NEW YORK (AP) — A film company has purchased the rights to a
biography of former New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani and is
expected to make Giuliani's story into a television movie.
JThe company, Five Mile River Films, bought the screen rights to
\R{idy Giuliani: Emperor of the City by Andrew Kirtzman, a political
frrespondent for local TV station New York 1. The purchase price
3s not disclosed.
Cirtzman was with Giuliani on the morning of Sept. 11 as the
len-mayor searched for a location for an emergency command
Inter. He updated the book, published in 2000, with a final chap-
jr about the terrorist attacks.
Five Mile River previously has produced television movies about
i Biblical figures, including Abraham, Moses, David and Jesus.
Country music stars Hill, McGraw
welcome home baby girl
LOS ANGELES (AP) — And baby makes three — daughters, that is.
Audrey Caroline McGraw was born in early December to country
singers Tim McGraw and his wife, Faith Hill. Waiting at home for her
arrival were 4-year-old Gracie and 3-year-old Maggie.
"The baby's great. She's doing wonderful," McGraw told reporters.
"She's healthy and happy and we're happy and that's all that matters."
Hill and McGraw, both 34, live in Brentwood, south of
Nashville, Tenn.

Mariah Carey’s Virgin

* NEW YORK (AP) — After less than a year and a flop album, Mariah
Carey is leaving Virgin Records with a deal giving her $49 million.
IfeMI, Virgin's parent company, announced on Wednesday that it
would pay the 31-year-old diva $28 million to end their association,
which was to last for several albums to the tune of $100 million.
tfSfhat's m addition to the $71 million she's already received since
arriving at Virgin last April.
Glitter,” her first album for Virgin and the soundtrack for her
movie of the same name, was a major disappointment. It sold
50\,000 copies, according to Soundscan, a sharp drop from the
multiplatinum successes the Grammy winner delivered for her pre
