declined to comment on any ac
tion taken by the University
against the students, citing it is
University policy not to make
public any disciplinary action
against students. However,
Lightsy said the matter was im
mediately turned over to Student
Conflict Resolution Services.
According to the Texas A&M
student rules, the students may
fac e permanent expulsion.
Northside area coordinator
Miike Krenz said there did not
appear to be any provocation for
the incident and he was unaware
of any substantial dorm rivalry
between Moore and Crocker.
The three students could not
be reached for comment.
Krenz said Crocker Hall is
commonly investigated for
“pranks,” but those responsible
are seldom found.
Murray said two previous in
cidents similar to the spill have
been recorded at Moore. One in
the fall also involved road kill
and an incident early in the
spring semester involved “fish
and chicken guts spread all over
the place.” No one has been
found responsible for either.
“I am glad to see that those
responsible have been found in
this case,” he said. “Students
need to know that this type of
behavior isn’t tolerated here.”
