This one major drawback is
enough to kill the entire game.
The graphics and story are
not great either, which
just adds to the disap

Remember how fun it was to play

With a giant magnifying glass.
Unfortunately, this latest install
ment in the Army Men video game se
ries doesn’t play on the “toy” aspect
of these vertically challenged soldiers,
creating a frustrating and lack luster
video game.
After playing Army Men: World
War, one might wonder why the de
velopers even made this game about
army men at all. Aside from losing
chunks of plastic when players get hit,
everything looks and plays like a real
life war game.
The minuscule commandos do not
even have the plastic platform that
connects their feel which, much to the
disappointment of any Army Men fan,
allows them to walk around normally.
When the game designers were not
busy destroying people’s childhood
memories, they filled their time creat
ing awkward game play.
This is the most annoying aspect of
Army Men because the camera angles
and controls of the soldiers are just
plain bad.
The game tends to drastically
switch camera angles anytime players
pivot, and characters get caught on the
