Sue Foster, assistant di rector of residential educa tion, said many freshmen come to college expecting their new roommates to be come their best friends for life, and it often does not al ways turn out that way. When I asked her what was wrong, she told me that she did my laundry and then pointed over to my side of the room.” Johnson said she was literally speechless as she viewed her discolored wardrobe. “I admit 1 was upset, but I really didn’t want to say anything because she was really emo tional and she hadn’t done anything really major to upset me,” Johnson said.
