icouting the Wrecking Crew
Is defense prepares for life without Dat, Warrick and
\ich, returning starters look to keep up consistency
question marks at the beginning
of the season.
But now entering their junior
year with a season of starting ex
perience under their belt, the trio’s
quickness and strength is seen as
one of the strengths of the defense.
Juniors Roylin Bradley and Cor
nelius Anthony join Frantzen and
Glenn as the starting linebackers.
Bradley, who led the team in
sacks , and Anthony, who was sec
ond on the team in tackles with 100
last year, will be looked upon to
lead the defense all year.
Seniors Jason Webster, Sedrick
Curry and Brandon Jennings join
Jameson and Weisinger in the
starting secondary. Webster, who is
a preseason All-Big 12 pick, starts
at the left cornerback spot with
Curry occupying the other.
Jennings, who has 36 consecu
tive starts to his name, will be at
the free safety position.
He is also the leading active tack
ier among the Wrecking Crew and
leading returning tackier among de
fensive backs in the Big 12.

Junior Chad Frantzen is slated to
play at Nguyen’s vacated inside line
backer position. A former 12th Man,
Frantzen gained valuable experience
last season as Nguyen’s backup.
Junior Jason Glenn will occupy
the outside linebacker spot left
open by Holdman. Glenn is the
brother of former Aggie standout
and All-American cornerback
Aaron Glenn.
Another junior, Michael Jame
son steps into Coady’s strong safe
ty spot. Jameson was the leading
tackier among non-starters on the
team last year.
Senior Jeremy Weisinger will
also see time at strong safety. A for
mer quarterback at the University
of Colorado, Weisinger transferred
to A&M before last fall.
While the three new starters
adjust to their new roles, the rest
of the Wrecking Crew is ready to
keep the success of last year’s
team going.
