It was just sitting there, so I reacts! and grabbed it. It grossed me out, and I still cringe everytimelj about it. His butt stank and was sort of misshapen, but ways. I was nervous, but I steeled my will and reached down; grabbed the remnants of Ben Affleck’s Camel Light cigarette. This weekend, I had the opportunity to fly to the left coast and rub black-clad elbows with two of film’s biggest stars: Sandra Bullock — Sandy to her friends and myself of course — and the golden boy with the golden statue, Ben Affleck. The opportunity came in the form of a press jun ket for the premiere of their new romantic comedy Forces of Nature. With an attitude the peppiest Fish Camp coun selor would envy, he asked all the members of the college press what schools they were from. When a Aaron MEIEJ I announced my affiliation with A&M, he looked, squinted s said, “An Aggie? I’m a UT man myself. G—d damn Aggies.” He chuckled good naturedly about it and then called to Sandv said, “This guy’s from Texas.” The surprisingly delicate-boned Bullock with her smoky eyesfi and a new haircut looked at me and said, ’’Really, where exactly My heart stopped, but 1 enjoyed her giggle as she said, “A&.V That’s that other school isn’t it? Yeah, I’ve heard about thatotkj school.” For about a week, friends have deluged me with various req.: for the sex symbols. Some were as simple and painless as genin' autograph, and others bordered on the obscene, as one frienddea ed I bring a pair of her underwear and have Ben sign them. Ludcj plane left Intercontinental Airport without a Victoria’s Si Other friends demanded a mug session with the stars ... both the;) “I don’t care if you are a guy, you have to grab Ben and give: huge kiss.” Luckily that never came up, although an effeminate guy sitting to me during the plane ride did question the nature of the relation between Affleck and his best bud Matt Damon. The actual interview took a few unusual turns as somesmpp ster wannabe thought it would be fun to bring up Ben’s on-agar] again romance with Gwyneth Paltrow, and that is when theiniar cigarette came out. Although 1 would rather have had a souvenier from theSpea: demon than Will Hunting's best bud, anything I could get wouldh family heirloom. So I took the only souvenier I could, knowing full well the to that will be tossed, but content in the knowledge that of all myk I will probably have the sole honor of stealing Ben’s butt.
