Track and field coach Ted Nelson said in a press release that the event has matured into one of the nation’s premier meets for decathletes and heptathletes. “Our multi-event competition has grown into, traditionally, one of the best meets in the country," Nelson said. “Some of the best decathletes and heptathletes in the nation will be here.” All-American senior Kendall Madden and junior Chad Meyer will lead the men’s decathlon team. Senior Toby Ware and freshmen Jake Boone and John Bloom will add depth to the Aggies’ roster.
