The comedic effect is great, but the soundtrack itself is flat, dull and nothing special. Songs like, "Shove this Jay- Oh-Bee” by Canibus with Biz Markie and "Damn It Feels Good To Be a Gangsta” by Geto Boys are the best representatives of the gangster image that was meant to contrast the office nerds of the film. The two tracks by Perez Prado are excellent but are not gangster rap like the rest of the album, but have a Latin beat. “Down For Whatever” by Ice Cube is the best of the rap tracks on the album. In short, the film is great and the soundtrack adds to it, but by itself, the music is nothing spe cial. With all the real artists in rap and rhythm out today, skip this one.
