The delegation’s visit is part of a Tai wan Endowment of $500,000 given last November to the International Center in the Bush Presidential Conference Center from the government of Taiwan. A second delegation will visit the cam pus the week of Feb. 7. The scientists will focus on programs in the Colleges of Veterinary Medicine, Agriculture and Life Sciences. In addition, they will tour the Institute of Biosciences and Technology, Texas A&M’s Weslaco Research and Extension Center, and Texas A&M’s Shrimp Mari- culture Project. The delegation’s visit is co-sponsored by the National Science Council of the Republic of China, The Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Houston and the In ternational Center.
