IFC presents kickoff concert Texas A&M Interfraternity Coun cil will open the semester with Spring 1999 Kickoff Concert tonight at 8 p.m. at Hurricane Har ry’s. The event, which opens each se mester, is traditionally held at Hur ricane Harry’s and usually attracts a crowd of 1,200 to 1,500, Greg Zweiacker, music director at Hurri cane Harry’s, said. “Even though it is sponsored by the IFC, it is an all-university event, and everyone is invited,” he said. Jeff Hillard, president of IFC and a senior management information systems major, said the performers at the concert will include Dys- funkshun Junkshun and The Scabs, who are also known as the Ugly Americans. Hillard said the concert is a fund raising event for IFC, and it unites A&M’s Greek community. “It is basically to get the se mester started out right," said.
